Wine Packaging

Every life ought to have a little magic in it. The concept behind this project is dehydrated or instant wine. Pour water in the bottle and, like magic, come away with wine. For extra magic, use less water.

This project features two products, Aqua Vitae Aurum and Aqua Vitae Aeris. Aurum is a white wine and Aeris is red. Aurum is based on gold, which glows like the sun and is thought to have the perfect balance of the four elements because of its resistance to tarnishing. Aeris is based on copper, which is linked to Venus and luxury thanks to its rich red color and antibacterial properties.

Process

The initial design sketches started with a grid of skeumorphic metal tiles. This was deeply regretted and apologies were issued to the appropriate parties.

Following this incident, ideas were iterated on and drifted in a more geometric direction inspired by old alchemical sketchbooks and diagrams and striving for a similar sense of experimentalism, magic, and discovery.
